Add tax and delivery fees in RentalSetup so party rental customers see the full price on the product page and checkout when they place an order. Set your tax rate in Site Settings, then choose mileage-based delivery fees (recommended) or zip codes. Watch the video below for tax setup; the full mileage walkthrough is in the delivery fees guide.
Open Site Settings from the admin navigation. Tax settings and delivery areas are on that page.
Under Tax Settings, enter a tax percentage and a label customers will see (for example, "Arizona State Tax"). That rate applies to applicable rental orders and shows up next to the label you chose.
Delivery fees are set in the Delivery Areas section of Site Settings. The recommended method is mileage-based pricing: set your headquarters address, then add mile ranges with a fee for each range. RentalSetup uses driving distance from your HQ to the customer address to pick the matching fee.
If you still use zip codes, you can enter a fee next to each allowed zip. Prefer switching to miles when you can—after you save mile ranges, zip-code fee details are removed.
For the full walkthrough (HQ address, mile ranges, free zones, and out-of-range blocking), see Set up mileage-based delivery fees and service areas and the delivery fee by mileage video.
